Go through all technical and contractual documents and
understand clients / consultant’s
requirements. Co-ordinate all MEP activities and prepare
List of drawings, Technical submittals, Material requirement
etc. Assign targets to the draftsman and guide them to
prepare MEP drawings, Load schedules etc. Cross check the
drawings made and arrange submission for approval. Prepare
material / technical submissions and liaise with the consultants
for approval. Co-ordinate with purchase department for
obtaining quotes, negotiate with suppliers and finalize
orders. Liaised with suppliers for shop drawings / technical
documents, review and approve them. Continuously monitor
supplier’s work progress and adherence to the technical
documents. Prepare documents for civil defense /
municipality / other authority approvals and attend meeting /
inspections with them. Maintain and issue approved drawings
/ documents to all concern. Assign targets to the site
engineers and visit sites regularly to monitor work progress and
to inspect the works done. Attend technical / progress
meetings with consultants / clients to discuss and resolve
various issues. Resolve various technical / site issues and
guide the installation team. Co-ordinate with specialist
service contractors like Fire Alarm, Emergency Lighting, BMS etc.
from submissions till final handover. Quality check the
works completed and prepare Work Inspection Requests. Attend
inspection with consultants and convince them for
approval. Monitor the preparation of As Built drawings and
ensure all information’s are incorporated. Carryout the
Testing and commissioning of all services, obtain approval and
arrange handover and Testing and commissioning
Reports. Prepare the Handing over package with operations
and maintenance manual as per the consultant’s
requirements. Handover the project to the client’s
satisfaction.
