As a senior member of the team, involved in the development of
OCAP (Open Cable Applications Platform) middleware stack for next
generation cable Digital Home Communications Terminal (DHCT)
applications. OCAP enables MSO developers write an interactive
software application once, and then port across the network. The
OCAP stack is being developed in Java to provide platform
independence and the underlying OS is Linux v2.6 where video
drivers are implemented as kernel modules.
