Family Background

I live with my parents. My father Suthakaran AR is working with central government. My mother Inthumathi R is a home maker now. She was a kindergarden teacher earlier. I have a younger sister, she is working in a MNC at bengaluru. My parents native places are in Andra pradesh, so I can speak(only speak a little) and understand Telugu.

My uniqueness

The one thing that's unique in me is that I like to share the knowledge and work in a team. I will try out of the box scenarios, solutions and compare the pros and cons. This has helped me in being a good decision maker and solving problems in a easier(productive) way.

Spare time activities

I collect ancient coins, play snookers, go for a midnight ride in Chennai city roads with music on, gather up with friends and play PS3, hacking my virtual lab, SLEEPING(my favorite).

Challenges facing by students

Communication, Very less practical knowledge during studies, outdated syllabus. There is very less relation to what we study and what we actually work. This gives a very big gap and students struggle.
Students should have a great urge to learn new technologies always.

In earlier days: Students were "jack of all, master of none"
Now: "jack of none, master of all" is what required. students should develop more skills.

Favorite subject

My strongest subject would be Wireless communication. I like this subject very much as the next generation would be wireless completely. This subject created some impact on me, so I started to work on wireless traffic monitoring and packet level analyzing the data.

About Myself

I am Girithar Anthay Suthakaran aka Gaddy. I completed my entire schooling at SBOA Matric Hr. Sec. School with good percentage. During school days I was a football school team player. I completed my bachelors in ECE(Electronics and communication Engg) at Saveetha Engg College affiliated to Anna University with distinction. During college days, we represented our college in various national and international level conferences in the field of robotics, embedded systems and artificial intelligence. I along with my team mates authored an IEEE paper. Soon after my college I joined IBM. I learnt a lot from the majestic company. Now I am moving to my study phase again, Going to pursue my Masters in Cyber Forensics and security at IIT, Chicago.

Favorite Books and Articles

I like Chetan Bagat novels, haven got the time to read it. Will read it soon ;)...The latest article which I studied was about the mobile insecurities. This gave me an impact that the ignorance of a person primarily leads to most of the thefts.

Most flourishing college experience

when we authored an IEEE paper about Artificial Intelligence. It was the most rewarding college experience.

Yeah obviously without the student power, a nation can never develop. The government should ask ideas for developing nation from younger generation rather than from copying it from other countries. student should have the knowledge of Law from their schooling so that they can a clear picture on the society and have awareness when they grow up.

Time Management

Any task that my mom says will be in my top priority list. A task which affect multiple people will be in my top priority. High importance+high priority = 1st place, Low Importance+High priority = 2nd place, High importance+Low priority = 3rd place, and the last with Low Importance+Low priority.

My dad was my first inspiration. When I was studying 5th, He bought an desktop computer and gave it to me and told me to explore it. From that day I started exploring it and learning on my own. This gave me a lot of confidence. He is a Master in computer applications and he clears all my silly doubts.
