I have diverse experience in the field of Human Resource Development; as a HR generalist in recruitment, training and talent management.
Prior to joining NetMagic I was with Lionbridge Technologies India as Head - Human Resources. My earlier employers were Tata Consultancy Services, Datamatics, Systime, Blue Star Infotech, Trigyn Technologies and Larsen & Toubro.

As Vice President - Human Resources, my main task is to translate
the global HR strategy into strategic Indian initiatives and
execute them in the country. I act as a Business Partner to the
CEO/Managing Director, providing best practice HR support,
guidance and advice to the India Leadership and the Worldwide
Leadership Teams. I lead and manage all HR activities across the
country, developing, implementing and communicating HR practices,
policies and programs’. I am measured not just by project
completion in terms of timely implementation, but also by the
effective use of resources allocated as well as behaviors shown
in completing project objectives leading to the development of an
overall mature, high value business environment.

I am the Immediate Past President of HR Infotech Association, an Association of HR Professionals in IT Industry in India (www.hrinfotech.org). I am Executive Committee Member of National HRD Network, Mumbai chapter. I am on the Editorial Board of ‘HRUdaya’, an e-zine from HRinIndia, a Group of over 10000+ HR Professionals worldwide
Awards and achievements:
Elevated to senior position to spearhead HR efforts by Blue Star Infotech Ltd., within 3 months of joining the Company in 2000. Received Special Award in September 1999 for my contribution in implementing SEI P-CMM level II processes in Datamatics and promoted to senior grade. Completed Certified Course on 'SEI P-CMM' (Quality Model for HRM practices) conducted by Dr. Bill Curtis, Chief Architect of P-CMM. Received Performance Award at Datamatics in the year 1998. Received Performance Award from the management of Tata Infotech Ltd., for two consecutive years 1996 and 1997.
Received Performance Award & Certificate of appreciation from the L&T Management in 1993. Included in the Asia’s Who’s Who Directory of ‘Young Scientists’. Recipient of Prof H.V. Ganganna’s ‘Best Paper Award’ in the university for scoring highest marks in ‘Networks’ subject. Awarded Gold Medal in MSc & Pre PhD exams for II Rank at university level. Awarded National Merit Scholarship at BSc level for 1981-1984.
