I have a vast experience in the Operations department of Indian Railways especially the Mumbai Suburban network which is the backbone of this commercial capital. I also have 3 years experience in export import operations, cfs management, port side handling and logistics of container.

• Worked in the Operations department of Indian Railways in
various capacities such as: o Assistant Train controller,
Deputy Chief Controller and Chief Controller (Operations) from
1987 onwards. • Was the Assistant Manager(operations) while on
deputation for three years from May 2001 to April 2004 to
CONCOR(Container Corporation of India Ltd. Handled port side
operation of JNPT(Jawaharlal Nehru Port Trust) and NSICT(Nahava
Sheva International Container Terminal), Dronagiri Rail terminal
also worked as Terminal Manager at Container Freight Station at
New Mulund, looking after all the EXPORT- IMPORT activity,
coordination with Customs Dept. and Trade • Have addressed
various operational issues in an efficient and cost effective
manner with due regard to safety and productivity • Attained
goals set out by the Railways in areas such as resource
deployment and customer satisfaction. Vast exposure to different
areas of operation management • Thorough knowledge of the
operational infrastructure of almost all major terminals on
Indian Railways (16 zones), having gathered their strengths,
weaknesses, possible opportunities and threats through long
experience with Western Railway
