The Decisions That Matter
I decided to start my own advertising agency after working for over 20 years for a variety of big brands. Leaving the comfort of a secured job and managing my own ship was one of my most crucial decisions.
The Journey So Far:
I started my career in advertising in the year 1990. Over the years, I have worked in several reputed ad agencies like Mudra, Love, Everest, Ogilvy, Redeffusion etc. I have worked on a variety of brands like Marico, Future Group, Unilever, Colgate, Mahindra and Mahindra, Parle, Ultratech Cement, LIC, Godrejamong few, in a variety of mediums like TVC, Radio, Print, OOH, online etc. I won several awards for my work and have made a lot of peers along the way.

Plans For The Future:
Seeing a turnover of over Rs. 5 crore for my organization is where I picture myself a couple of years down the line.

My current roles include managing the administration of my company, bringing in new clients and supervising the creative and strategic execution of all the work that goes through.
Changes In The Professional Environment:
Things have become slightly more complicated as the complexity of the media environment has grown.
Working Life Management:
I try not to spend late nights in office and I go home early to spend more time with my family. Proper delegation of work and good use of technology helps me ease the pressure of work and hence I can manage to live a stress free life even while delivering my best.

Read a lot, think a lot, manage your knowledge, be in tune with the new media at all times.
