1. Working as Engineer Store Support for TESCO HSC Ltd. Currently
responsible for supporting the IT system for the Tesco stores in
UK. Provide second level support for the stores IT system. Was in
UK for 3 months on a project for knowledge acquisition of store
support operations of Tesco.
2. 24/7 support for Retail IT
systems, monitoring essential Retail IT hardware – RS6000, MFS,
Network Switches, Store WAN links, Access Points and Simple
Checkout Management (SCM) PCs, Customer Service Desk (CSD),
Mobile Stock Control (MSC), Realtime Sales, Biztalk
servers
3. 2nd level support and an escalation point for Stores
Help Desk (SHD).
4. 1st level support and Code10 support
OOH.
5. Service introduction for new projects.
6. Liaison with
and escalate to 3rd party vendors, SNI, Webbs, SVS (E-giftcard),
etc.
7. Liaison with and escalate to 3rd level Application
support teams.
8. Management of most Retail
Incidents.
9. Monitoring of 119635 TB End Of Day (EOD) jobs
across 1685 stores, 3370 critical MFS EODs, 3370 non-critical MFS
EODs, 1685 DPG EODs and 215680 NG EOD jobs across 1685 stores.
