all electrical functions related to construction, fitting out,
overseeing and quality assurance of ships under construction and
undergoing refits/repairs at M/s Mazagon Dock Limited
(MDL). Monitor progress of the ships under construction
/repair and institute corrective measures to meet build strategy.
Provide onsite and customised system solutions for
design/construction related issues. Identify latest trends
and technologies in the filed of electrical and electronic
systems and make recommendations for their procurement.
Monitor expenditure and exercise cost control for ships
under construction/repairs. Administrative functions for
smooth functioning of the Naval Inspection Team and all matters
related to personnel administration. Lead, motivate and
develop a technical team of four Officers and twenty-three
supervisors.
