Working Life Management:
By following a simple rule of avoiding carrying work to home.
Done Differently:
I am fortunate that I have chosen this path and I owe a lot to my teachers who have put in this path. Perhaps, I would have been a little more focused at higher secondary and undergraduate level that would have helped me reach where I am a bit earlier. I have, however no regrets in my choice.
Other Thoughts:
I read fictions especially that of Marquez, Llosa, Kundera, Achebe, Satyajit Ray, odiya authors and few translations of Bengali, Marathi, Malaylam authors etc. I read and write poems. My poems are posted in my blog http://shyamalee.blogspot.in/
The Journey So Far:
I am in the path of Academic world.
Growth Strategy:
Aspire for highest standard and conduct of the profession. In my case it is teaching and research.
Role Model:
My teachers; Professor R S Rao from Samblapur University, Professor M V Nadkarni my initial mentor for my PhD and Professor R S Deshpande my teacher at Institute for Social and Economic Change, mentor and guide. Their personal values, research ethics and contribution have always been my inspiration
