Starting Sep 2009, a national responsibility as National Manager
Business Development & Evangelist. Revolved around building a
customer base in academia across India/South Asia for the
educational courses that have been built on the various software
products. The go-to-market approach was through two approaches,
namely - direct IBM into colleges and secondly through a network
of business partners. Post January 2011, moved into a Program

Having gained experience both from a perspective of execution in

A national responsibility. My work areas were around running
business partner programs at the distributor level. With Sonata,
Ingram, Redington and Tata Consultancy Services being the tier 1
partners. There were a separate set of programs which were
implemented and managed in line with the respective brand
strengths which each of the resellers had around the five
software product pillars namely - Lotus, Tivoli, Websphere, DB2 &
Rational.
