Submissions - Inbox Full

I was wondering, when we submit our website to different directories, we provide our client's email id.

When we submit the website to a directory, a mail is send indicating 'thanks for submitting' then later when the listing is approved again a mail is send.

My question is whether the client would be happy to get an inbox full of directory mails other than business mails during the Internet Marketing Campaign? Moreover the client would feel horrible if his or her hosting space is low.

Is there any solution to avoid this apart from giving a non-client email?

Good question and good answer. I would like to add that rather than using an existing yahoo/gmail account it may be better to create a separate mail id just for this purpose hence to avoid cluttering your own personal mailbox

Hi Ajith,

The answer to your question is that you use non-client email like gmail or yahoo acounts for link submissions as the mails which you will receive there would be only for confirmation.
