Funding News: Pharma-packaging Startup 'Sorich' purses $1 million in Pre-IPO Funding round
In its pre-IPO investment round, pharmaceutical packaging firm Sorich raised $1 million under the direction of BizDateUp.
Investors: BizDateUp
According to a press release from Sorich, the funds will be used to improve working capital, maximize production capacity, facilitate the development of patented products and the required certifications, and upgrade current machinery to produce high-margin products, such as the recently introduced Heat Transfer Labels.
Sorich, founded in 2011 by Chandrahas Kotian, produces and supplies packaging materials for a range of markets, such as food, personal care, and pharmaceuticals. It produces a variety of goods, including as flexible packaging, coated glassine paper, and aluminum foils. The pharmaceutical, food and dairy, confectionary, and personal care industries use its goods.
Speaking to the vital funding round, Chandrahas Kotian, Founder of Sorich says, "Recent studies have revealed that thousands of chemicals used in food packaging and production are leaching into the food itself, with over 3,600 chemicals identified in human bodies, some of which pose health risks while little is known about others. This issue extends to pharmaceutical packaging as well. These alarming findings have driven us to develop solutions aimed at preventing such contamination."

Funding News: Data engineering Startup 'Datazip' secures $1 million in Seed Funding round
Datazip, a Bengaluru-based data engineering startup, has raised $1 million in a seed funding round.
Investors: Equirus InnovateX 
This marks EIF’s second deployment its $30 million tech-focused venture capital fund. Datazip has previously gained $ 200k from Anicut Capital and other investors.
The new funding will work on to develop with new data engineering and analytics project in India.
Co-founded in the year 2022, Sandeep Devarapalli, Shubham Baldava, and Rohan Khameshra, Datazip concentrates on constructing a lakehouse platform which designs to magnify data engineer’s productivity by tenfold. The platform majorly works for helping their data works and achieve real-time insights by permitting them to continue to be competitive in a fast changing growing market.

Funding News: Inventive AI-driven Startup 'Nayan Tech' nets $2 million in Pre-series A
In its pre-Series A funding round, Nayan Tech, a cutting-edge AI firm offering smart city traffic monitoring systems, raised $2 million from investors.
The money raised will be utilized to grow Nayan's operations and business in India and beyond. These operations and commercial ventures will encompass traffic management, road safety, infrastructure monitoring, and driver behavior monitoring using Nayan's AI-powered dashcam.

Funding News: Agri Biotech Startup 'BioPrime' bags $6 million in Series A
BioPrime Agrisolutions (BioPrime), an agribiotech business, has secured $6 million in its Series A round.
Investors: Edaphon, Omnivore and Inflexor
The newly generated funds will support BioPrime's agricultural protection research, with an emphasis on the cooperative development of innovative biofungicides and bioinsecticides.
Founded by Renuka Karandikar, Amit Shinde, and Shekhar Bhosle, BioPrime creates reasonably priced agribiologicals that use tiny biomolecules to modify the fundamental physiological reactions in crops. These compounds assist crops cope with abiotic stressors like drought, high temperatures, and excessive watering, among others, and increase crop resilience to insects and pests.
With trials already under place in the US, the company intends to introduce its current line of cutting-edge biostimulants in North America, Southeast Asia, and Brazil.

Funding News: Aerial Intelligence Startup 'Aereo' lifts $1.8 million in Series B
Aereo an aerial intelligence platform, has raised $1.8 million in its Series B Fundraising round.
Investors: JSW Ventures.
In July of this year, Aereo had already raised $15 million in the same financing round headed by 360 ONE Asset, with participation from its current partners StartupXseed Ventures and Navam Capital.
Aereo, which was co-founded by Vipul Singh and Suhas Banshiwala, improves asset management in industries like mining, infrastructure, urban and rural development, and land records by utilizing cutting-edge drone technology and AI-driven data analytics. Among the company's extensive services are land record digitization, quality checks, and inventory assessments.
The Bengaluru-based company says it has completed large-scale government projects, including mapping more than 50,000 square kilometers for the Digital India Land Record Modernization Program (DILRMP) and more than 45,000 villages under the SVAMITVA initiative. It also states that it has attained EBITDA profitability.
