The Indian startup ecosystem has set a new record by bagging another round of funding in a few sectors like Foodtech, Dermatology, ODR, Fintech & API another win for the startupreneurs by raising funds and updating the growth probability and standardizing the products and services. The week went by successfully witnessing funds in every stage of funding from First, Seed, Series A, Pre-Series B & Series D

Funding News: 10-minute Food Delivery Startup 'Swish' nets $2 million Funding

Swish, a 10-minute food delivery startup has raised $2 million in its first funding round.

Investors: Accel, Angel Investors like Abhiraj Bhal and Varun Khaitan, along with Karthik Gurumurthy, the former head of Swiggy Instamart, among others.    

The funds will be used to expand Swish’s operations and enhance its delivery model across most areas of Bengaluru. The startup also plans to scale into other tier-I cities in the upcoming years.

Swish was founded in the year 2024 by Shah, Ujjwal Sukheja, and Saran S. The startup oversees the entire food delivery process, from preparation to delivery, within a compact 1.5–2 km radius. Currently, it operates several cloud kitchens in Bengaluru's HSR Layout and Bellandur areas.

By the end of November, Swish plans to expand its services to four more regions across Bengaluru, including Koramangala and Sarjapur.

Founded by Dr. Abhishek Pramod Pilani and Dr. Priyanka Pilani, Assure Clinics has established itself as a frontrunner in providing innovative dermatological and hair restoration services through its network of 15 centers across India and Dubai.

The company offers a comprehensive range of services, including advanced hair transplantation techniques, skin treatments, and specialized hair and skincare products, serving a growing patient base with a team of over 250 employees.

The company's comprehensive service offerings include advanced hair transplantation techniques such as Follicular Unit Extraction (FUE) and Direct Hair Implantation (DHI), alongside innovative treatments like Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy and mesotherapy. Their skin treatment portfolio encompasses acne treatment, anti-aging solutions, laser treatments, and various other specialized procedures.

Funding News: Simplified ODR firm 'CADRE ODR' earns $200K in Series A

Online dispute resolution (ODR) platform CADRE ODR has raised $200K in its Series A funding round

Investors: Aprameya Radhakrishna, Rahul Guptan, Ram Bhamidi, Aneesh Garg, and Murali Subramanian

According to a press release from CADRE ODR, the money raised will be utilized to democratize access to justice by providing a cost-effective, practical, and easily accessible alternative for resolving disputes for both individuals and companies.

CADRE ODR, which was co-founded by Kanchan Gupta and Rajneesh Jaswal, uses cutting-edge technology to provide quick, affordable, and legally enforceable resolutions for business and other conflicts. In contrast to traditional techniques, the company uses an AI-driven platform to cut dispute resolution timeframes to as short as 45–60 days. The crucial problem of expensive and time-consuming legal resolutions is addressed by the company's platform.

Funding News: Fintech Startup 'CredFlow' earns $3.7 million in Pre-Series B

A Delhi-based fintech startup, CredFlow, has raised $3.7 million (around 31.2 crore) in a Pre-Series B funding round.

Investors:  Inflexor Ventures and a Singapore-based family office

CredFlow said in a press release that the new funds will be used to enhance and expand its financial services and lending verticals, as well as strengthen its technology and innovation capabilities.

This was founded in the year 2020 by Kunal Aggarwal and is a SaaS-based cash flow management platform designed to help small and medium-sized businesses optimize their financial operations.

The platform offers tools for better cash flow management, offering timely insights on pending customer payments, sending payment reminders, validating invoices, and negotiating early payment discounts, all aimed at unlocking additional working capital for SMEs.

Startup: Zopper

Established Year: 2011

Funding News: Insurance-focused API Startup Zopper bags $25 million Funding in Series D

Zopper, the insurance infrastructure API platform for the insurance industry, has secured $25 million in a Series D funding round.

Investors: Elevation Capital, Dharana Capital, and Blume Ventures.

The company said in a press release that the new funds will be used to strengthen its insurance distribution platform and enhance its digital infrastructure. Post-sales and service operations for device and appliance protection segments will be improved by the investment.

In FY23, the company registered 187.28 crore in revenue with a loss of Rs 13.95 crore.

The 13-year-old Zopper assists companies in offering a variety of insurance products and provides complete technology and support services to 40 insurance firms. More than 2,500 ecosystem players have been partnered with it.

Until its acquisition by Walmart-owned PhonePe in July 2018, Zopper was a customer-focused PoS system for retailers and small-scale businesses. After the sale, Co-Founders Surkendu Kulia and Mayank Gupta pivoted Zopper into a SaaS platform enabling consumer internet companies to distribute insurance products.
