Funding News: Hoopr Raises Rs 4 Crore to Boost Product Innovation and Expansion

Hoopr has raised Rs 4 crore in the first tranche of its extended Pre-Series A round, which values the company at approximately Rs 160 crore post-money and brings its total funding to about Rs 18 crore to date. The funds will be used to scale Hoopr’s self-serve automated music-licensing marketplace 'Smash', deepen its Bollywood, regional and international music catalogues, strengthen product innovation (including AI-led features like auto-tagging and copyright detection), expand talent and accelerate global growth.
