Varoon Modak The New Ballot Access Counsel for Biden-Harris Re-election Campaign

Indian-American lawyer Varoon Modak will lead the ballot access in the Biden-Harris re-election, along with Alana Mounce.
Prominent Indian-American lawyer Varoon Modak will lead as the senior counsel for ballot access in the 2024 Biden-Harris re-election campaign. Nominated by President Biden, Varoon currently serves as the Counsel advisor at Elias Law Group, acting as ballot access counsel for federal and non-federal candidates, party committees, and partnership advisory councils (PAC) ballot access and campaign finance issues. The appointment holds a key role in Team Biden-Harris’ efforts to engage and energize supporters all around the US ahead of the upcoming race for the White House.
Varoon will oversee the campaign efforts to cement President Biden’s place on the ballot in all 57 states and territories in the US, alongside the ballot access director Alana Mounce, and will lead the campaign’s delegation process. The campaign’s ballot access team will build upon the groundwork laid by the 2020 campaign and the DNC, utilizing the established extensive volunteer and supporter network to ensure the president's place on the ballot. Their work will expand on the Democratic National Committee’s critical organizing work across the US. It will remain fundamental to the campaign’s efforts in engaging with key supporters and volunteers of Biden’s party.
Alana and Varoon seek new and innovative ways to engage and organize Biden-Harris supporters, be they easily accessible or remote regions, serving as legal advisors for Biden’s party.
