Shantanu Narayan

Shantanu is the President and CEO of Adobe, one of the largest and well-renowned software companies of the world. He joined the firm in the year 1998 as a senior Vice President and took charge of the current position in the year 2005.

The leadership and operational capability of Shantanu have reinforced the culture of innovation of Adobe and furthermore expanded the firm into new markets and extended its product portfolio. He has also played a prominent role in establishing the company across the globe.

Shantanu directed the $1.8 billion acquisition of the company Omniture in the year 2009, increasing the ability of  Adobe to help customers and make online experiences, content and applications more effective. The same year he was acknowledged as one of the "The TopGun CEOs" by Brendan Wood International, an advisory agency.

Shantanu, who is a regular speaker at events related to industry and academics, even holds five patents. Previous year, he was appointed by Obama to an advisory panel on how to execute excellent business practices in government.

Shantanu completed his graduation in electronics engineering from the University of Osmania and did master’s in computer science and business administration from Bowling Green State University and Haas School of Business respectively.
