Pittsburgh-based digital transformation and information technology company Mastech Digital Inc (MHH: NYSEAMERICAN) has named Indian-American technology executive Nirav Patel its new president, chief executive officer, and board of directors member.  In his initial remarks, Patel emphasized his vision for Mastech Digital to lead and redefine the digital transformation space.

Before his role at Mastech Digital, Patel served as senior vice president and global markets leader at Cognizant (NASDAQ: CTSH), one of the world's leading technology services companies. At Cognizant, Patel was pivotal in scaling the communications, media, and technology (CMT) business segment, generating over $2 billion in annual revenue. This success showcased his exceptional ability to manage large-scale operations, create customer value, and navigate complex business ecosystems.

Later, he joined as the president and CEO of Bristlecone, a Mahindra Group company specializing in digital supply chain transformation. Under his leadership, Bristlecone became the industry's largest pure-play supply chain services provider. Patel significantly expanded the company's global workforce to over 3,000 employees and introduced advanced data and AI-driven solutions that enhanced operational efficiency and market relevance. His visionary leadership propelled Bristlecone to the forefront of digital supply chain transformation, solidifying its position as an industry leader.

Patel, who holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from the University of Madras and finished an advanced management program (AMP) at Harvard Business School, brings a strong blend of technical expertise and strategic insight to the role. His proven track record in scaling multibillion-dollar businesses and integrating data-driven solutions aligns perfectly with the company's growth ambitions.
