Winning the favour of American president Joe Biden, Shailen P. Bhatt is all set to combine forces with the Biden-Harris governing administration.

An Indian-American transport expert, Shailen P. Bhatt, has been nominated as the administrator of the Federal Highway Administration of the US Department of Transportation with concern to Joe Biden, the President of America.

Bhatt holds high esteem in the transportation sector, both government and private. He has been acting as the senior vice-president of global transportation innovation and alternate delivery at AECOM since 2021. His previous captaincies include executive director of the Colorado department of transportation, cabinet secretary of the Delaware department of transportation, and presidential appointee at the US department of transportation.

Bhatt has been a pioneer in the delivery of safe, sustainable, and cost-effective transportation systems in the 21st century. With his brilliant leadership as the CEO of the Intelligent Transportation Society of America, chairperson of the board of directors at the National Operations Centre of Excellence, and the I-95 corridor coalition's executive committee chair.. He is well known for his membership position at the World Economic Forum’s global agenda council on automotive and personal transport’s future.

Shailen Bhatt holds a degree in economics from Western Kentucky University and is the chairperson of an external advisory board for the United States department of energy. He is also a member of the Aurora safety advisory board for autonomous driving. It is expected that Bhatt will join hands with the Biden-Harris government for an effective administration.
