Sunita Williams to Visit Mumbai Next Week

Bangalore: Sunita Williams will be interacting with school students from Mumbai on April 3 and 4. This is the first time in the last 6 years, Sunita is paying visit to Mumbai, reports Srinivas Laxman of TNN.

On April 3rd, Sunita will visit a working women's hostel run by the Indian Council of Social Welfare in Chembur, where she will be interacting with the hostelites as well as students from various schools, Council secretary-general, Bhupesh Babu, told TOI.

The next day, Sunita will be a make it to the Nehru Science Centre in Worli. According to S Khened, the centre director invitations have been sent to about 100 schools and it is estimated that around 50-60 will attend the programme. "The capacity of our auditorium is 270, so we have restricted the number of entries from each school to five, including the teacher," he said.

Sunita’s last visit to Mumbai was in the year 2007, where she gave a presentation at the IIT.
