Bangalore: Take a look at any of the leading global firms, management, IT or academics, you fill find at least one Indian at one of the prominent posts. The situation is not different in the case of renowned IT firms headquartered in the U.S, whether it is Oracle, SAP or even Google. Here is the list of 8 Indian Americans who work in global IT giants and whom we expect to lead these firms very soon, as reported by Shelley Singh of ET Bureau-

Nikesh Arora

Nikesh is the Senior Vice President and Chief Business Officer of Google. He is the top most paid employee in Google in the year 2012, who received $46.7 million in total compensation previous year, more than double from a year earlier

Arora, who is with Google for the past many years, has been successful in building the European operations of the company into a significant one. He was appointed to the post of global ad sales boss in the year 2009.

Prior to joining Google, Arora served as the chief marketing officer and a member of the management board at T-Mobile. He has also worked for Deutsche Telekom, Putnam Investments, and Fidelity Investments.

Nikesh graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology (BHU) Varanasi, India with a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and he also holds a degree from Boston College and an MBA from Northeastern University.
