2. Thomas Jefferson (1801-09):





Born on April 13th, 1743, Thomas Jefferson was elected as the third President of the United States. He is considered to be one of America’s founding fathers and played a major role in drafting the Declaration of Independence in 1776. Jefferson purchased Louisiana from France in 1803. 



3. James Buchanan:





Born on April 23rd, 1791, James Buchanan served as the 15th President of the United States and was in the chair just prior to the Civil war.  He represented Pennsylvania in the United States House of Representatives and later the Senate. He is also thought by some as the guy who was a moot spectator and did nothing in stopping the Union from breaking apart. He is on the list of one of the worst Presidents of America.
