Samsung Gear A: First Smartwatch With 3G Calling

BANGALORE: Samsung is not new to release smart watches in the market, but what is that keeping Samsung is the news that the news smartwatch that is to release will sport 3G calling, reports Pocket-lint.

Samsung is on its way to release its first ever round faced smartwatch Gear A codenamed Orbis. The feature of 3G calling being an incorporated one is rumored and the other rumor that is making rounds is that the watch will have wireless inductive charging.

Though Samsung has already a smartwatch model with 3G connection, the square shaped Gear being the one to sport it.

The 3G calling is the surprise package and the new smartwatch codenamed Orbis is to be released in two variants. The first being the one with 3G connectivity and the other having Bluetooth for connecting to a Smartphone with both the versions having Wi-Fi connectivity.
