Last October Julian was offered a post as a designer at Instagram but he let the offer go. He chose to work for his own app the then Stealth 1.0.

Julian does not mind the missed millions because he ‘does not design for money’. He told Quora ‘I wasn't even interested in the numbers or the offer. I have nothing against Instagram, we're not competitors and I think the team is brilliant. I was loyal to my team and the product that we had just dedicated the past six months to build.’

Now here is one techie we must all respect but who minds a few spare millions in his bank account?
