Ballmer’s Failure

According to the annual proxy filing by Microsoft, it has been revealed that Ballmer’s bonus has noticed a significant cut than last year because of his failure to raise the sales graph for Microsoft. This year Ballmer received $620,000 as bonus which registers a fall of 9 percent when compared to his bonus last year.

Microsoft has registered a sharp decline in its sales in the recent past and the aggressive policies followed by its CEO are not helping the company recuperate the damages.

Unlike Bill Gates who was known as the calm and composed CEO of the world’s largest software company, Ballmer is being seen as an aggressive and sometimes arrogant CEO who has continuously fell short of delivering results.

Another blunder that has hampered Ballmer’s reputation is his inability to deliver the choice of browsers in European companies that he had promised earlier because of which Microsoft had to face a very embarrassing situation.
