Google Bans Children Under 13 From Using Google Glass

Bangalore: Google is already setting up pre-cautions to its wearable intelligent device, the Google Glass, the company's awaited innovative internet glasses. It reportedly claimed that the Glass should not be used by children under 13.

The precaution on Google’s website read, "Don't let children under 13 use Glass as it could harm developing vision. Glass isn't for everyone. Like when wearing glasses, some people may feel eye strain or get a headache. Kids might break Glass or hurt themselves, and Google's terms of service don't permit those under 13 to register a Google account."

The Glass project is currently being tested on a group of thousand people. And as per reports, there has been no information if Google has tested the device on children, as the company is concerned it may harm their visual development.

The smart Glass use voice control of the wearer, and perform tasks like take photos or make video calls, and even look at websites and browse into Google applications, and much more.

The Google Glass is expected to go on sale next year.
