AIMA Organizes The First Ever Bangalore Management Convention
Bangalore: All India Management Association (AIMA) organized the first ever Bangalore Management Convention here in the technology hub of the country yesterday. The Convention with the theme “Management Innovation and Excellence: Leveraging Brand Bangalore's Leadership Story for the Next Generation of Success” brought together Corporates, Academia, Industry and Bureaucracy to discuss and deliberate the need for a new generation of thought leaders through the convergence of technology, innovation and entrepreneurship.
The inaugural address was given by Mr. S. Gopalakrishnan, Co-Founder & Executive Co Chairman, Infosys, “World is looking for new leader and new leadership. If Bangalore wants to sustain the brand Bangalore then we need huge success frequently for example, Silicon Valley, Facebook, and Instagram. We are living in a period where there is tremendous changes hence there are many opportunities. The 20th Century business models are no more to be used in 21st Century. That is only because unprecedented power of technology, information. The concept of business changing is not about the number of employment, as there should be new business models. 20th Century was all about MNC’s however 21st Century is all about small companies. The power of ideas, how to capture imagination, able to reach hundreds and millions of consumers of social media”
