In general, a myth surrounds that the technology world is an exclusive field for male section of our society which is no longer true. 1. Sheryl Sandberg

Designation: COO, Facebook

Sandberg was taken in from Google about six years ago to join in as Facebook COO. She is responsible for Facebook’s business operations involving sales, marketing, business development, legal, human resources, public policy and communications. She has driven the corporation to profitability.

Sandberg, who made a foray into the billionaire club recently, has 12.3 million personal shares in Facebook. Her remuneration package last year was $26.2 million of which $25.6 million was in stock options. She is also one of the board directors for Walt Disney and Starbucks.
