Bangalore:  In the fast paced tech industry, where an innovation overtakes other in no time, Apple stayed dormant for over 7 months since the launch of iPhone 5, which would relatively equals a millennium. Mean while Android had leap frogged iPhone 5 with two killer innovations, reports ZDNet.

If Apple CEO Tim Cook’s comment during the company’s latest earnings call is considered, iPhone 5 or any other products are most unlikely to get any updates until this fall.

The two killer innovations are part of Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, with one of it unique to Android platform.
