Sony Launches 'Paw Friendly' TV for Dogs And 'Headphones' For Cats

Bangalore: Sony, one of the leading tech brands has got in on the latest tech trends with its Animalia line of products, which includes a doggie TV and cat headphones. Certainly, it’s a just-for-laughs April Fools’ prank, even though the photo of a cat rocking got with a pair of M3-OW KittyCans is of great attraction, according to reports by Mashable.

The fictional Animalia line brought out by Sony has three products, and it caters to different species. First and foremost is the K9 4K TV, specialized for dogs by maximizing blue and yellow tones while discarding green and red ones, all with a resolution of 4K. The best part in the device is the “paw friendly” two-button remote with controls for “play” and Skype, where the dogs can talk to their owners at any point.

Secondly, the aforementioned M3-OW KittyCans, which “fit any feline”. The ActiveLight technology makes the headphones appear on even if they are not, so that cats can pretend to be listening to music even if they don’t respond to calls.

Finally comes with the In-Cage speakers for hamsters. The capsule-sized speakers pump “energetic music” into the cage. Similar to a cardio machine, the tempo adjusts according to how fast the big wheel of the speakers spin around.

Besides, Sony created a fake webpage, along with a video, for the Animalia line. Those who are interested to tweet it, there’s also a hashtag, #techforpets.
