NVIDIA Unveils "Maxwell" Graphics Architecture

Bangalore: With more than 600 million gamers worldwide, a number that is twice the population of US, gaming today is country! With more realistic and more engaging content, the PC gaming industry is set to see continued growth in the years to come. It is in this context that Nikhil Kohli, GeForce Business Head, NVIDIA, unveiled the GeForce GTX 750 Ti and GTX 750 graphics cards, the first to be built on the Maxwell architecture. GTX 750 Ti and GTX 750 deliver more than twice the performance at half the power consumption of previous generation cards.

The GTX 750 Ti GPU’s small physical design — at only 5.7-inches long — doesn’t require an internal power connector. Thus, gamers with PCs equipped with integrated graphics or other small form-factor designs can switch over for a great gaming experience at 1080p, without needing to upgrade their power supply or deal with increased energy costs. Because the GTX 750 Ti consumes so little power, it runs extremely quietly and generates very little heat, making it perfect for use in home theatre PCs, as well.

As Nikhil pointed out, though, “Gamers today do not just buy the hardware. They seek an experience.”  The GTX 750 Ti and 750 GPUs also include support for NVIDIA’s breakthrough GameWorks program and unique gaming technologies, including:

· ShadowPlay, which lets gamers capture and share their gaming experiences on Twitch and other online sites,

· G-SYNC display technology, for smooth, stutter-free gaming visuals, and

.  GameStream, which allows gamers to stream their favorite PC games to NVIDIA SHIELD for high-performance gaming on the go.
