Microsoft Hires Ahmadabad Boy For Whopping 1.12 Crore


Bangalore: The students from India are being offered fat pays by tech giants lately. In a continuation of the momentum, an Ahmadabad boy has landed one of the highest packages of $1,80,000 (about 1.12crore) ever offered to an Indian engineering student. The offer was made by Microsoft to Priyanshu Kumar Jha, who earned a Master's from Singapore, reports Times Of India.   

Priyanshu attended school in Shahibaug, interned at the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) Ahmedabad. He has secured a bachelor's degree in information technology from UV Patel College of Engineering, Ganpat University, Mehsana.

He will work for Microsoft's Bing search engine as development engineer. Priyanshu will head to the Microsoft headquarters in the US next week. He is also noted for being the youngest of the batch to appear for placements at the National University of Singapore this year, where he studied for the master's degree in software engineering.
