Bangalore: Smartphone manufacturers including Samsung and HTC are apparently frightened with the news on Google building an ultimate Android - the X Phone. The extremely sophisticated handset, which is built by the Motorola division under Google, is expected to be launched next year and the device has already gone through a number of iterations.

The details on this “next generation” Smartphone is in its nascent stage but according to Dennis Woodside, CEO of Motorola Mobility who spoke to WSJ, the device has "technology that will do something quite different than the current approaches."  Moreover, Google’s purchase of Viewdle, a company which focus on “face, object and gesture recognition,” can be linked to the cutting edge technologies, which could come along with the iPhone killer.

According to WSJ, Motorola had earlier tried to build the phone with bendable display and ceramics, which would make the phone more stress resistant, more colorful and can be molded in different shapes. But the company ran into difficulties. However, according to the people familiar with matter, top-notch features for the phone's camera and photo software, such as better color saturation and the ability to take panoramic shots will be present and the team is currently working on some popular features which are already incorporated in some of today’s devices but, found to drain the battery life.

A Mashable report said that the phone could come with features like lip reading your voice commands, recognizing the hand waving gestures and so on. Also an X Tablet will also be uncovered shortly after the X Phone.
