Bangalore: Indian Android users can now avail the opportunity to download Facebook Home. The app can be downloaded on the following devices - Samsung Galaxy S3, Galaxy Note 2, HTC One X and HTC One X plus. Google Play store also avails the app. From the moment you install the app, you will start seeing a line of friends’ updates and photos on the home screen of the Smartphone.

Facebook Home consists of Cover Feed wherein users can see the latest posts from their News Feed on Android Home. Users can swipe through their status messages and photos to see more. There is an option to comment from Cover Feed itself and users can double tap to like a post.

With Chat Heads, another embedded feature of Facebook Home, one can send and receive texts and Facebook messages. The option allows you to reply to conversations when other apps are open. To end a conversation you need to drag the floating heads to the bottom of the page.

Notifications will appear on the right side of the screen and another option called App launcher allows users to store favorite apps to access them when wanted, just by dragging the app and placing it where they want. App launcher also allows one to post in Facebook.
