Bangalore: It is almost the time to bid adieu to 2012 and welcome 2013. Many companies and people cashed in from the big IT trends of this year like mobile, social, cloud, and big data, which  grew beyond their skins and offered a new look. It’s going to get big in the coming year. IDC, the international data corporation, a market analyst, predicts how these trends will unfold in 2013 to a tune of billions of dollars, compiled by Business Insider.

#9 The world will spend a whopping $2.1 trillion on tech in 2013

It’s a happy environ all around, companies rolling up their sleeves for latest tech and consumers are baring their wallets, for mobile devices and apps. Mobility, cloud computing, social technologies and big data will be the IT market drivers. In the big picture, IDC says worldwide IT spending in 2013 will exceed $2.1 trillion, up 5.7% from 2012.
