4. Swiping gestures for touchpad

The swiping gestures of the new Operating System mostly works with touchscreen tablets and laptops with touchpads. In touchpads, you can swipe into the leftside to switch between apps and swipe from right to activate the Charms manu and so on.

In those PCs that do not come with touchscreen displays, swiping gestures won't work.

Ensure that your drivers are updated for your laptop’s touchpad when you install Windows 8 Release Preview version, which would enable the multitouch and swipe gestures.
