# Ghostery

This is another cool little security add-on that helps you monitor those who are watching you! The Internet is not very secure these days, for better user experience, security is being compromised. They can see everything you do on the web; with Ghostery you can now watch those trackers.

It lets you detect trackers, web bugs, pixels, and beacons placed on web pages by Facebook, Google Analytics, and over 500 other ad networks. In addition to providing you with links that present you with an opportunity to learn about them, it also allows you to block scripts, images and objects from companies you do not trust.

# HTTPS Everywhere

Created by the Electronic Frontier Foundation and Tor project, this important security enhancing add-on encrypts your communications and protects your identity when accessing unsecure websites. Not every website offers HTTPS support and even those that do can be difficult to use and might not be completely secure.

HTTPS Everywhere fixes that by automatically switching over from the unsecure HTTP connection to the secure HTTPS connection on the fly whenever needed. It protects the users from many forms of surveillance and account hijacking.
