8 Reasons Not To Upgrade To Windows 8

Bangalore: Windows 8 comes with the bag of both good and bad stuff. While it promises a list of new experience, some features of the new OS miss to make it to users “list of good features”.

Read on to know the 8 features which may deter you from an up-gradation.

#8 Negligible Relative Speed:

With all the loaded “new” features, you may wonder how much faster this OS can be with respect to the older version. Windows 8 however can score few extra points on Google V8 (an open source JavaScript engine which increases performance by compiling JavaScript to native machine code), but this may not loudly emphasize its speed, for windows 7 is already fast to start with.

Boot-up times are much improved, saving few seconds, however it will be useful if you constantly have a need to restart the system, which is the most unlikely scenario. The same thing can be applied to gaming or multimedia experience. Unless you are an obsessed pro, you won’t find much different experience than the older OS. So the few seconds you save on the new OS may not be a real motivator to nudge you on for up gradation; unless you are greedy for that last tiny drop of performance you want to squeeze in, you are sorted with old OS, nevertheless.
