7 New Social Networking Sites You Should Explore in 2014

#3.Snapchat

With this photo messaging application, users can take photos, record videos, add text and drawings, and send them to a controlled list of recipients. You can set a time limit for how long your viewers can see your snaps. Snapchat is available for both Android and iOS devices. Snapchat also introduced Snapkidz for users less than 13 years of age, allowing children to take snaps and draw on them, but they cannot send snaps to other users.

#4.WeChat

WeChat is a texting, voice message service, sharing of photographs and videos. You can also chat with random people located near you. The group chat, along with the free calls factor, makes this an interesting social network to explore. The app is available for Android, iOS and several other devices.   It is the second largest standalone messaging app by monthly active users after WhatsApp. To promote the app in India, WeChat roped in Bollywood actors Varun Dhawan and Parineeti Chopra as brand ambassadors.

#5.We Heart It

It is an image based social networking app for inspiring images. ‘We Heart It’ describes itself as "A home for your inspiration" and a place to "Organize and share the things you love.” Like Pinterest, We Heart It provides ‘canvases’ and ‘collections’, where users can heart and tag other users in photos. We Heart It was chosen as one of Google Play's Best Apps of 2013 and is gaining over 1 million new users each month. It is available for both Android and iOS devices.
