Protestors fumed when security researchers sounded an alarm about a secret file in iPad and iPhone, which stores the longitude and latitude of the device along with timestamp and send it to Apple every 12 hours. The unencrypted file will get shared with every device that it syncs. Eventhogh Apple said it would help them to build database for providing support to location based services, anybody who access or steals your computer can virtually track your movements or know exactly where you stay, your frequent visit places and so on. Many said Apple is violating the privacy policies and a U.S. Senator Al Franken wrote a letter to Steve Jobs demanding an explanation to the secret file.
