Dart breached a sexual offenders’ order that banned him from electronically communication with young girls. 40 of his Facebook friends were girls aged under 16, and this caused him to be jailed for a year.

6. The last laugh?

Person on Facebook: John Palmer

Palmer was sentenced to five and a half years in prison because he had a picture in which he was laughing. The only thing that was wrong with that was that his picture was posted along with an article of how his dog ferociously attacked a man, who later died. The sentence allowed him to be eligible for release after one and a half years of imprisonment.
