Formed with the intention of providing a 3D printer with power and resolution of a truly professional machine on your desktop, Formlabs has created an easy-to-use system that rivals the output of high-end printers at a fraction of the cost. But the Form 1 features stereolithography, which uses a laser to cure liquid resin into microscopic layers, resulting in much more precise creations.
