8. Yahoo Fires Yet Another CEO

Most of us lie on our resumes a little. Little tweaks here and there are ok but what if an employee completely lies about his qualifications. No doubts there, he will be fired. This is exactly what happened to Scott Thompson.

He was hired in January but in May activist investor Dan Loeb questioned his credentials publicly. Scott had claimed that he had a bachelor’s degree in accounts and computers from Stonehill College. In reality the college did not offer such a course when Scott was a student there. He was just an accounting student. He was released from his duty on May 13.
