Promotions.., Oh! They don’t happen

Employees were frustrated when the topic of promotion was asked. Some employees say that they did not expect a promotion but at least a hike which was the most minimal amount. An ex employee Apple says - “There is almost zero opportunity to move up — even if you’re the best. Apple is plagued with hiring externally instead of promoting internally. Recruiters will low ball you if your offered a spot, so be prepared for a fight.”
