10 Things Apple Won't Tell You

Bangalore: Why customers want to think different about the consumer-tech giant, Apple. It may be because the company won't tell them many things like the strategy behind frequent upgrades, why the iPhone is overpriced, etc. Let's take a look on 10 things that Apple hides from you.

1. Our Customers are Worn Out

Unlike the excitement behind the first iPhone or iPad, the newer models don’t find the attraction. The Apple buyers are not very happy with Apple’s launch of upgrades so frequently.

Technology consultant Patchen Barrs, who has owned 25 Apple products over the last 20 years says, "Everything we buy from them is already out of date". As a matter of fact, since 2001, there have been six iPods, two iPod minis, six iPod Nanos, four iPod Shuffles and four iPod Touch, five iPhone models since 2007 and three iPads since 2010.

Though, newer models provide with newer designs and additional features like better cameras and improved screen quality, about half of 2,000 people surveyed by Marketing Magazine in the U.K., say that they fear the devices will get outdated by newer versions in sometime, and hence they are reluctant to buy them.

Even software upgrades also gently push people to buy new devices.
