Bangalore: CEOs are at helm of the company and so are credited with all things, good or bad, the company goes through. More than often they have to captain a ship out of mighty storm. Some pull trough and some fizzle out. The CEOs who failed to pull through, had to put up with “hot seat” before they were actually relieved of their positions. #10 Dick Costolo

Dick Costolo is the CEO of Twitter. Before twitter he co-founded the web feed management provider FeedBurner, which was bought by Google, and after acquisition he became an employee at Google, working in different areas.  He left Google and joined Twitter as its COO, and later replaced Evan Williams to become its CEO.

Twitter was hopeful that the RSS advertising network co-founder would steer twitter to the heights of Facebook success, but its investors and board members are yet on wait to see Costolo to delivers it, in turn subjecting him to hot seat.
