Bangalore: Many people assume Silicon Valley as a world run by ideas from withered minds of veterans. But the truth is, none of them were responsible for the hot startups which are trending in the valley now. Most of these ideas were the brain child of energetic teens as young as 16.

But when it comes to influence others, the ideas alone is not enough. Considering the environments, PeekYou, a Self described search company “focused on indexing the public web around people,” recently released a list of the web’s most influential tech leaders in 2011 and 2012 based on PeekScore, which ranges from 1 to 10.

The influence of these young leaders is measured by how many followers, readers or friends one might have, how active he is in blogging, content creation and social networking and even their presence in news topics.

Here are the most influential young tech leaders
