Zippee Introduces 60-Minute Delivery Service for E-commerce Marketplaces

Logistics company Zippee has now launched Blaze, a new 60-minute delivery service for online marketplaces across India. The move makes Zippee one of the first players to offer quick delivery and dark store infrastructure for multiple categories like supplements, food and beverages, home decor, fashion, skincare, and pet care.

The first set of marketplace partners includes big names like Vaaree, Supertails, Haldiram, Mondelez India, and Clinikally. The service is currently available in the NCR, Bengaluru, and Mumbai, and is expected to expand to five more cities and 120 marketplaces and brands in the coming quarters.

What is Zippee?

Zippee, established in 2021, works with brands and e-commerce websites to enable direct deliveries to customers via their own channels. The startup uses a network of dark stores and last-mile fleets in 13 cities to enable same-day, 2-hour, and now 60-minute delivery for qualified SKUs. This enables brands to keep up with growing customer expectations for quicker deliveries, particularly in competitive and time-sensitive categories like health and wellness, food and beverages, personal care, gifting, fashion, and home basics.

Support from Prominent Angel Investors

So far, Zippee has raised $8.5 million in funding from a group of investors such as South Asia Technology Partners, FMCG giant Haldiram Snacks, and high-profile angel investors like Kunal Shah, Peyush Bansal, Ashneer Grover, Paramdeep Singh, Tanmay Bhat, Arjun Vaidya, and Raj Shamani.

Umesh Kumar Agarwal, Whole-Time Director, Haldiram Snacks said, "Quick commerce is where the future is headed in consumer shopping: speedy and convenient. With Zippee, we are able to send products from various categories to our online shoppers in hours, not days, with our world-renowned quality while fulfilling market requirements."

Madhav Kasturia, Zippee's Founder & CEO, further said, "Conventional logistics operators were not built for the speed that customers expect today. Through this launch, we are assisting marketplaces in filling the quick commerce gap without giving up on their brand, customer data, or merchant relationships.". This is only the start, and we plan to take Blaze to more D2C platforms as well." Zippee expects 17% of its total shipments to be fulfilled through the 60-minute delivery service by the end of Q2 FY26.
