Zepto Partners with Truecaller to Boost Trust and Streamline Customer Experience

Mumbai quick commerce startup Zepto, which boasts a 10-minute delivery model, has formed a strategic partnership with Truecaller in order to increase trust, simplify its business, and enhance real-time interactions between the customer and its delivery agents.

This partnership brings Truecaller's Customer Experience Solutions into Zepto's technology stack and allows it to empower innovative features like Verified Business Caller ID, Video Caller ID, contextual messaging, and OTP-less login.

Having operations in over 80 cities and a catalog of 45,000+ products, Zepto is embracing verified communication to differentiate itself in a crowded space. The Verified Caller ID will now display Zepto's brand name, logo, and verification badge on calls, decreasing the rates of unanswered calls and instilling increased customer trust.

More features such as Call Reason, Call Me Back, and Video Caller ID will contextualize every customer touchpoint  whether order confirmation or delivery coordination.

Truecaller's Verified Campaigns will also enable Zepto to launch targeted call and SMS-based marketing campaigns during peak-ordering hours as well as promotion events. Onboarding-wise, Truecaller's SDK integration will enable OTP-free one-tap logins for both Zepto and Zepto Café platforms, minimizing drop-offs and enhancing sign-up efficiency.

Zepto Co-founder Kaivalya Vohra emphasized that trust in communication is “foundational to every successful transaction” and said the partnership enhances both reliability and operational efficiency.
