Wingify Acquires AI Startup Blitzllama to Strengthen VWO Platform
  • Wingify acquires AI user insights startup Blitzllama in an all-cash deal.
  • Blitzllama will be integrated into the VWO platform, combining user feedback with experiment data.
  • The deal strengthens Wingify’s global SaaS and AI capabilities for enterprise customers.

Wingify, the parent company of experimentation platform VWO, has acquired AI-driven user research startup Blitzllama in an all-cash deal. The company did not disclose the transaction value. The acquisition marks another step in Wingify’s push to strengthen its product intelligence and global SaaS offerings.

Founded in 2021, Blitzllama helps product and growth teams capture and analyze real-time user feedback. Its platform enables businesses to collect in-product responses, review qualitative insights from surveys and customer support interactions, and use AI models to summarize user sentiment and key themes across large datasets.

Following the acquisition, Blitzllama’s technology will be integrated into the VWO platform. Wingify said this will allow teams to combine behavioral data from experiments with direct user feedback, helping companies understand not only what users do, but also why they do it. Existing Blitzllama customers will be migrated to VWO while retaining access to their historical data and continued support.

Blitzllama was part of Y Combinator’s Winter 2022 batch and had raised early-stage funding from 2am VC and other SaaS-focused investors. The startup worked with digital-first companies, particularly in the fintech and retail sectors.

The deal comes as Wingify continues to scale its global SaaS business. The company said its annual recurring revenue is nearing $60 million (around Rs 540 crore), largely driven by enterprise customers outside India.

The acquisition also follows Wingify’s own buyout by Singapore-based private equity firm Everstone nearly a year ago. While the long-term impact of that deal is yet to be reflected in financial filings, Wingify reported a sharp drop in profit in FY25, mainly due to a steep rise in employee benefit costs. Despite this, the company posted a 34 percent year-on-year revenue growth to Rs 386 crore, underlining continued demand for its products.

With the Blitzllama acquisition, Wingify aims to deepen its AI-led insights and deliver more connected, user-focused experimentation tools.
