Voylla.com Raises 2.5 Crore From Snow Leopard Technology Ventures


Bangalore: Voylla.com, an online retail company based in Bangalore, has raised 2.5 Crore in investment from Snow Leopard Technology Ventures, reports DealCurry.

The company plans to utilize the investment to expand its operations and to market its shopping portal. As a part of the deal, Chris Kolenaty, Partner in Snow Leopard Technology Ventures, will also be joining the Board of Directors at Voylla.

Founded by Vishwas Shringi and Raj Uparkar, the company offers exclusive jewellery and accessories from talented designers in its e-retail platform. It sells precious, semi-precious stones and gems along with accessories like hand bags, shawls, clutches and much more. The company claims to have 300 new designs added every week with over 3000 products listed in its portal.

The online retail shop claims to deliver products at customer doorstep within 7 days from the time of placing the order.

Snow Leopard Technology Ventures, a funding company, dedicates itself to provide seed capital for Indian Startups which are engaged in internet and technology businesses. It also focuses on being a partner to potential management teams.

In the same line, e-retail store BlueStone.com had also raised $5Mn from Accel Partners and Meena Ganesh. And Caratlane.com, an online jewellery portal, raised $6 Mn from Tiger Global Management.
